Swindon Bus TravelCard

All of our drivers accept contactless payment cards and cash.

One card... but with different ways to use it. Our TravelCard  and Young Persons' TravelCard are used for cashless bus travel.

SmartFare

SmartFare is ending

On 7th September we are withdrawing the ability to top up our SmartFare cash TravelCard.  But don’t worry, if you do still have SmrtFare cash credit on your card you can use it on the bus until 31st December 2018.

Try our new improved payment methods instead.

We’ve been accepting contactless payments on our buses for a year now and this popular method continues to grow.  Have you tried it yet?

Our drivers do accept cash and of course even give change.  For those of you that like to do everything on your phone we have our new mobile ticketing app – Clickit2Ride – where your phone becomes your ticket.  It’s available for ios and android, just search for clickit2ride

Any existing SmartFare cash credit on your TravelCard must be used up by 31st December 2018.
